She's often absent and Isaiah is forced to take on responsibilities that belong to an adult. Unfortunately, after this loss Isaiah's mother never fully processes or deals with her husband’s death. ![]() Isaiah Dunn Is My Hero is a powerful novel about a young boy who becomes the "man of his house" after his father passes away. This was such a powerful book and is a must read for people who enjoy middle grade. I didn't really read the summary of this book before I started this book and I'm really glad that I didn't. ![]()
